I found this place right where you can truly feel the Mauritian culture. After being away for 17 years, I decided to treat myself to a weekend back home, and this spot in La Gaulette was absolutely perfect. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon and Le Morne is simply breathtaking I spent hours just admiring the scenery. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly located if you want to explore the south or simply relax. I’ll definitely be coming back this stay reminded me why I missed Mauritius so much.

I enjoyed my stay with beautiful view and felt like home. It is located near La Prairie beach, which is only few minutes walking distance away. The host responds quickly to your questions and is helpful. The breakfast is great, especially the local fruits are the best! The bed is super comfortable so after a long day of swimming at the beach or hiking Le Morne, you can easily relax.

Our stay at the Maison was super! It had everything we wanted! We came to explore Mauritius and it was a perfect base from which we travelled to almost everywhere on this stunning paradise within 1 hour! The room was large, the view (indescribably beautiful the whole day and night with the most awesome sunsets), breakfasts on the terrace were enjoyable and not monotonous. Our hosts were kind and helpful. My wife wanted to buy some dragon fruit and we enquired where we can purchase it, next day Karine pitched up with a bag full on the house! For a guest house our room and balcony was really private, quiet and we seldomly noticed that there were other people around even when the parking lot was full and the rooms fully booked. The place has the perfect holiday vibe and if you so wished to; you could enjoy conversation and laughs anytime next to the wonderful pool with the hosts and other guests! Our room was perfectly cleaned every day with fresh linen regularly . (Thank you, Shandrina and Nat for your awesome service and friendliness, you were very much appreciated!) We snorkeled in the lagoon and although it is rather shallow we still saw some cute fish, some coral and a lot of sea urchins about 100m+ from the beach. The new Albion Mall with the Dodo Supermarket was a surprise as it stocked almost everything one would need for a stay. All in all: You did great! Well done Jerome and Karine! Thank You!!! One of the best hotels i stayed in all Mauritius. Super calm, modern and beautiful! Everything was great. Love the town and the supermarket and places to eat close by.

This place is exceptional with breathtaking surroundings and views that exceeded our expectations. Owners and staff were incredibly attentive, providing us with plenty of useful tips to enhance our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pristine getaway in a untouched nature with top notch hospitality!

Το Shanti Ghar Guest House είναι σε Tamarin, σε απόσταση 1,8 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Tamarin και προσφέρει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κήπο και... It’s a perfect little spot , close to everything you need. The family who owns it makes you feel like part of the family. Food for the soul! Loved it and will be back!

Το Son House Studio, που προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi, είναι στο Flic-en-Flac και απέχει 500μ από Παραλία Flic en Flac και 8,4 χλμ από Γήπεδο Γκολφ Tamarina. My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !

The breakfast is what I usually like to have — good coffee, really good baguette, omelette and some fresh fruits. The place is very clean and well maintained. The owner really likes solid wood furniture. The beds, the dining tables and some others were shipped here from Bali. The hostess Sabrina was also amazing and helped us solve some logistics issues with local vendors.
