We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

Το Tiny on Access είναι σε Kerikeri, σε απόσταση 21 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Opua Forest και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Absolutely loved staying here , so cozy and warm. The little details make a big difference. It was pouring with rain when we got there and the host pre heated it for us can't thank you enough.

I don’t know how this accommodation could be any better - it’s location on The Strand, the amazing view of the bay from the patio, the delicious, homemade breakfast delivered to your apartment every day, the most gracious, thougtful host. It was just wonderful. I told my husband, cancel the rest of our roadtrip around the North Island, let’s just stay here. Highly recommend!

Το Taranaki βρίσκεται σε Waihaha, σε απόσταση 31 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Opua Forest και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου. The surroundings are tranquil. The view looking down to the inlets is inspiring. Great star gazing at night. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast while birdwatching on the patio. The separate “cookhouse” has a lot of charm. If it has been a rainy day, I would have a coffee and read a book here. Elizabeth is very thoughtful and caring. She provides adequate and quality items in the guest house. We completely enjoyed our stay and will not be hesitant to come back again.
