Staying at El Albergue Ollantaytambo was genuinely one of the best decisions we made on the trip, hands down. First off, the location is perfect. Ollantaytambo itself is a fascinating town with a history to match—it’s the only one still using the Inca grid system! Plus, it offers two great, fun treks: the ruins and the granaries. But the real boon is its position right AT the station, making it the ultimate base for Machu Picchu. Getting up a couple of hours earlier than everyone else for the trek is great, but there's nothing better than coming back and immediately checking in instead of having to deal with another grueling 2-4 hour bus ride back to Cusco. It's also much more comfortable being at 9,500 ft instead of the 11,500 ft elevation of Cusco. Beyond the incredible convenience, El Albergue is simply an exceptional hotel in its own right. The service is beyond reproach; everyone on the property was so incredibly friendly and attentive. It truly makes the entire experience. The rooms are impeccably designed and wonderfully comfortable. I have to specifically shout out the gorgeous art throughout the rooms and common areas—it’s stunning, and seemingly much of it is from the proprietor, Wendy Weeks. The on-site amenities are another huge plus. The restaurant has exceptional food, and breakfast starts early (6 a.m.) with a great variety. You absolutely MUST book the wonderful Pachamanca lunch beforehand. They also have a local coffee roastery and a distillery right there; we had a great tour at both and really enjoyed the products, especially the Matacuy. Oh, and there are the most adorable dogs on the property, too! Overall, El Albergue was one of our favorite stays in Peru. We had a great time and are genuinely looking forward to coming back.

Το Corihuasi στεγάζεται σε ένα ανακαινισμένο πανδοχείου αποικιακού στιλ, που χρονολογείται από τον 18o αιώνα. Φιλικό, ευγενικό και πρόθυμο προσωπικό, ώστε να σε εξυπηρετήσει σε όλα. Ζεστό δωμάτιο, πεντακάθαρο, και τις ημέρες που ξεκινούσαμε για εκδρομές πολύ νωρίς το πρωί μας ετοίμαζαν πακέτο με σνακς. Καθαρό και άνετο μπάνιο. Το νερό στο ντούζ πάντα ζεστό και το wifi εξαιρετικό. Το πρωινό ήταν ωραίο. Επίσης κατα την άφιξη μας, μας πρόσφεραν coca tea χωτις χρέωση και μας καλωσόρισαν με χαμόγελο όλοι!!!!

Το Amaru Colonial είναι ένα αποικιακό πανδοχείο στην καλλιτεχνική περιοχή SanBlas, 2 τετράγωνα από την πλατεία San Blas. Η όμορφη κεντρική αυλή διαθέτει απαλό φωτισμό και πολύχρωμο κήπο με λουλούδια. The breakfast was exceptional; the location perfect and the overall experience of staying at this quaint, lovely boutique hotel was excellent. Highly recommend.

Hosteria de Anita is a lively family-run guest house in the artistic San Blass District, central Cuzco. Rooms are nice - clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good. The location of the hotel is great - just a quick walk to the main square, but on a quiet street.

In Cusco´s San Blas art district, Amaru Inca is set in a colonial house with internal patio and garden, featuring scenic views. Good service, nice architecture.

Το CASA HOSPEDAJE EL LABRADOR βρίσκεται σε βολική τοποθεσία στο κέντρο του προορισμού Κούσκο και προσφέρει κήπο, δωρεάν WiFi και βεράντα. Η διαμονή μας στο Casa Labrador ήταν πολύ άνετη! Υπέροχος χώρος και αρκετά παραδοσιακός με Περουβιανό χαρακτήρα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και βοηθητικοί με τη νόσο του υψομέτρου που με ταλαιπώρησε μία ολόκληρη ημέρα.. Η τοποθεσία είναι αρκετά καλή. Περάσαμε πολύ όμορφα!!!

Το Hospedaje Quillabamba βρίσκεται σε Santa Teresa, Cusco, σε απόσταση 4,7 χλμ από Huayna Picchu. Τα δωμάτια του Hospedaje Quillabamba διαθέτουν ιδιωτικό μπάνιο, καθώς και δωρεάν WiFi. Dina and Mario were super nice. They made us breakfast and gave us a tour to Cocalmayo Hot Springs and Vertikal Ziplining across the valley. It was epic! Super nice people. I am coming back for sure.

Casa Duran is a really comfortable place to stay in Cuzco. It has a great hot shower. The bed is comfortable and bigger then usual. It has heating in the bedroom. Also, It is a 8 minute walk to the plaza of armas. The tours in Cuzco usually leaves early, like 4:30, 5 ou 6:30 am. Since breakfast is from 7 to 9, Maribel leaves a basket with fruits, water and crackers when you need to leave early. Maribel is very hospitable and always there when you need something.

Καταπληκτική εξυπηρέτηση σε όλα και ότι ζητήσαμε , ευγενικό προσωπικό με ένα υπέροχο σκυλάκι ! Χρησιμοποιήσαμε την υπηρεσία laundry με πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση . Κάθε μέρα αλλαγή πετσετών και πάντα καυτό νερό !
