The owners were very welcoming and beyond kind. I had some very bad events before coming in and their kindness felt like a gift. I needed to feel safe in a clean space and that is what I got. They have beautiful energy, real human angels 🫶🏻 I would return again and highly recommend.

Before even arriving, we appreciated Chip & Yessica’s prompt responses to our questions & their efficiency in arranging details like airport pick-up. The hostel is in a great location. It has amazing views over the river. Conveniently located behind a fruit & vegetable market, it is also only a block or so from the scenic Malecon & the main historic plaza. The hostel is magical. The high-ceilinged rooms are completely covered with vividly coloured murals. It reeks of charm. We took a room with a private bathroom. It was huge & the one wall was solid window looking out onto the river. The room is well-appointed with a bar fridge, reading lamps, etc. linens & great wifi provided. The common room (where an excellent breakfast can be served) also has these amazing windows & views. Chip speaks English & he & Yessica have been in Iquitos a long while so can answer all questions.

She is so nice and attentive. Also waiting for me to get there at night. The house looks super clean and so the room.

Nos hospedemos en 2 oportunidades diferentes y si vuelvo a Iquitos lo volvería a realizar. Además muy buen wi-fi

The room was very clean and comfortable! Nice shower! They even let us store our items there for several days while we did our Amazon tour! Highly recommend!

It's a bit outside the city, but it's very easy to take a cheap mototaxi or a bus to the centre. The wifi worked perfectly and everything was clean. There are shops around (even a supermarket), and also several restaurants (with chifa and chicken). The owner is super friendly and kind. I can recommend Otorongo for 100%!

I booked last minute and arrived late but they organized a super reliable transfer from the bus station. They also helped me get a hammock for my slow boat journey to Iquitos. Early in the morning, they provided another reliable transfer to the boat. The room is comfortable and the big smart tv is a nice touch.
