What a beautiful place to stay. We cannot recommend it enough. The chalet we stayed in was lovely, quirky and absolutely immaculate. We are just sorry we could not stay longer. We had a delicious meal served on our terrace which was exceptional. The hosts were so welcoming and have put a lot of work into the property with great attention to detail. We had to leave early for the airport but the owner prepared some breakfast for us. The gardens are beautiful with many lovely places to sit and admire the surroundings.

I spent a week at Milin Guesthouse, the rooms are very nicely designed and very comfortable. location is in a Thai neighbourhood on the edge of town with everything you need nearby…I loved the experience of living amongst local people. The best part about staying here is the host. Alex is a very interesting guy with whom you could talk about anything in the world with. He also has his beautiful family living at the guesthouse who went out their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and Alex took care of my motorbike rental and laundry. On my last day as my flight wasn’t until the evening Alex let me keep the room to chill out in past check out time as it was so hot outside this time of year, I was also treated to dinner with the family and a couple of beers before I headed to the airport. This without a doubt has been my best experience of accommodation in Thailand, and I’ve been coming for years.

We loved our stay in this small hotel in Chiang Rai ! The staff is friendly and super nice with the guests, the location is great (outside the city center but easy to go by walking or taking a Grab), the room is great, modern and full of natural light… The bathroom was also really big and clean. We had bottles of water everyday, the staff was always ready to help us whenever we needed it :) The style and the architecture of the hotel is beautiful, there are also some tables outside to relax or have a drink. Thank you to all members of the staff, we really enjoyed our time in Chiang Rai !!! And a big thank to the manager : she sent us a package with some things we had forgotten in our room… Amazing person 🙏🏻

The staff were amazing. So kind and helped us as soon as we got there by helping us rent a bike. We were given drinking water and toilet paper straight away. The bed was so big and really comfy. The co-host we met, was always smiling and generally just a very kind and polite human being. We have been backpacking for three months and this was the best accommodation so far ! It was really close to the blue temple and 5 minutes by bike from the night market ! Highly recommend !!!!

Warin’s house is located in a small village in Wiang Kaen. It’s a cozy, quiet home built by the village, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view overlooking the Mekong River. We had a lovely night there—wish we could have stayed longer! Warin was incredibly kind and helped us arrange the slow boat to Luang Prabang, which made us feel so warm and welcomed. Highly recommended!
