The bathrooms are spacious, and the single beds (not bunk beds) are incredibly comfortable. There’s also a large lounge area if you need to work, and the internet connection is strong. I ended up extending my stay because it was such a pleasant experience. It’s also very close to the pier, which means you’ll save on your first taxi fare. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Koh Tao!

The house is very well kept, cleaning was on regular basis, they changed towels without my request several times in a week and restocked the fridge with water. The owners are wonderful, humble, wise people. I also loved the location, just a bit away from the hustle but still waking distance from restaurants, atms, groceries etc.

The area was fantastic, and I had a great experience with the staff. The Massaman curry was delicious! I loved starting my mornings slowly, enjoying a big breakfast (those coffee shakes were addictive) and some snorkeling. There’s a stunning viewpoint just a short and easy climb from the restaurant, and the private beach was absolutely beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant offered reasonable prices, which is rare for remote or hard-to-reach places. The girl working at the reception and restaurant (Emma, I think?) was very friendly. She speaks perfect English and French, making communication effortless. !!!!! Things to Note: If you’re comfortable driving a motorbike, you’ll be fine. The road is in good condition: wide, with little traffic, although there are some steep sections. Just make sure to rent a bike with reliable brakes. If you’re not comfortable with motorbikes, be aware that the drive to the villas involves crossing a mountain. You won’t need to leave if you’re content with snorkeling, swimming, eating, enjoying the viewpoint, or relaxing in a hammock. However, if you want to explore, be prepared to pay for taxis. If you want to avoid the steep hills but are otherwise ok to drive, one option is to take a taxi to the pier area and rent a bike for a day, return it in the evening and take a taxi back :) A taxi boat is also a great way to see the island. There are quite a few stairs—about 80 steps—from the restaurant and beach up to the parking lot. Although initially a little challenging, I appreciated the workout given all the amazing food and motorbike rides that otherwise kept me lazy haha. I quickly got used to the climb. The basic bungalows with fans are exactly as described: bucket flush means a bucket flush, cold shower means no hot water, and a fan means no AC. However, being right on the beach made up for any lack of amenities—I couldn’t have asked for a better location.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! If you’re in Koh Tao this place is a must stay! The people are so incredibly lovely and hospitable. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to everything you could need. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!

At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. Everything! The welcoming boss lady, the cozy cute bungalows, the views, the food, the hospitality! We will definetly come back.

DPM Koh Tao Diving Hotel & Bar in Koh Tao provides adults-only accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Featuring a shared lounge, the 3-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers karaoke and an ATM. The DPM Hostel was incredible! The cleanliness was excellent, everything was very well maintained. The value for money is amazing too, definitely worth it. When I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly and were always attentive and helpful throughout my stay.
