To say that we both loved this place wouldn't do it justice! Because we adored it! The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated and sitting on the terrace while sipping one of the delicious juices prepared on the spot makes you feel part of a tropical forest. The activities that you can do around Eito abound. Anyway, if you simply choose to stay inside and relax, you've got what you need - Hannelore has thought of everything, from the small details to the big suggestions and recommendations that make a difference. By the way, this is the right place to be for all vegan travellers (and not only them), as the food is delicious! I've had my favourite cachupa of the entire trip around Cabo Verde here! Thank you for making our stay on Santo Antão so special!

The staff was really nice and Judith helped out in organising a taxi from Porto Novo to the hotel, including an amazing tour through the island. Also we had a great time with Ivone who prepared very nice vegan breakfast. The hotel has a great terrace with a stunning view and the location is very nice.

Exceptionally welcoming hosts. The room was very clean and had an amazing view. Breakfast and dinner were home cooked and provided a good choice and quality of food. The hotel is a short walk from the natural bathing pools and there is easy access to transport to other locations.

Tony is a great host and very knowledgeable about the local area. He is always kind and willing to help or lend advice. The breakfasts were great and make for a lovely atmosphere where guests have an opportunity to meet eat together each morning. The guest house is very serene, set amongst the hills and sugar cane fields of Eito. It's a perfect location, away from pombras, nestled in the valley. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Tony
