I recently stayed at Beaches Guest House and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, with a level of care that truly stands out. The bed linen and towels were of high quality, adding a touch of luxury to the stay, and the bed itself was extremely comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. They also provided lovely toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe here; the guest house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease from the moment I arrived. The location is another highlight, conveniently situated close to the beach and local amenities, making it easy to explore the area without hassle. The owner was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay, offering local tips and genuinely attentive service. Beaches Guest House is a true gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment.

I only stayed for a night in Inverlea Guest House as I had to catch an early bus from Ayr the next day - if I hadn‘t already booked it, I would have stayed longer! Everything was perfect, down to the tiniest detail: the beautiful and incredibly quiet house, the extremely high quality bed and infrastructure, the lovely breakfast. But most of all, the hosts Liz and Douglas, who made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped into the guest house. Even tho Ayr wasn‘t really on my radar of „must-visits“ in Scotland, I will probably come back just because I want to spend some more time at Inverlea!
