The staff were fantastic and so hospitable. The location is brilliant as well, a short 10min walk to the center of Ubud. Nice to be out of the craziness. Very good restaurants near by a well. Would highly recommend. Also for the best massage, head to Ray Spa. It's a 5min walk awak and they are so respectful, clean and we'll priced.

I stayed at Rumah Baris Ubud for 5 days and was absolutely satisfied with my experience. The room looked exactly like in the photos: clean, stylish, and newly renovated in a modern European style. There’s a lot of attention to detail: beautiful blackout curtains, soft LED lighting, a lovely wall painting above the bed, elegant door handles, and an overall sense of calm aesthetics. The mattress was very comfortable, and the whole space felt thoughtfully designed. One charming detail I really appreciated: you can hear roosters in the morning a gentle, natural way to wake up without an alarm. The room was always clean, with no unpleasant smells, and both hot and cold water were available at all times. Daily housekeeping was reliable, and the overall service was excellent. I would also like to highlight the stuff, especially The biggest highlight of my stay was the staff. Special thanks to the manager Widhy and Komang from the reception team. I arrived sick with a cold, and they took great care of me. They regularly checked in, helped me organize meals, and were incredibly supportive and kind. I felt truly cared for and safe during my time there. When I return to Ubud, I’ll definitely stay at Rumah Baris again.

I had the most wonderful stay at Gata Guest House! The beds and pillows are hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced while traveling—like sleeping on a cloud. Everything was spotless, and they offer daily housekeeping—just let them know before you head out for the day. The staff are truly the kindest and most thoughtful people. On my birthday, they surprised me with a beautifully decorated room and even brought me a cake! It was such a sweet and personal touch that made my day extra special. The location is also perfect. It’s right on a lively street full of cafes, restaurants, and bars, yet it’s peaceful at night. You’re within walking distance of all the highlights in Ubud—markets, temples, and even the Monkey Forest, without being too close (so no surprise monkey visits!). A quick tip: if you’re arriving late, be sure to message them on WhatsApp in advance so they can leave your key ready. They also offer airport pickup with a friendly driver, which made arrival smooth and stress-free. I honestly couldn’t recommend Gata Guest House enough—exceptional service, unbeatable location, and warm-hearted people. I’ll definitely be back!

absolutely loved everything about my stay! The property is stunning, with beautiful buildings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Walking through the family’s gorgeous home before entering the accommodation added such a special touch. The staff were incredible—genuinely kind, always smiling, and incredibly helpful.
