A beautiful house in the countryside with a lovely view of the mountains. Lorcan the owner is a really nice guy and gave us local recommendations of where to eat and visit. Everything was very clean and tidy, a comfortable bed and fantastic shower. There's cereal, bread and milk provided and a nice little area to eat. It's less than 15 minutes drive to carlingford. Boots the dog is lovely and there to greet you every time. Be sure to put the address into the satnav as the property is set back from the road.

The central location is perfect for exploring Carlingford. Parking is directly in front of the property. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every comfort provided. We brought our dog along and found the whole experience easy and completely stress-free. We hope to stay at The Retreat again in the near future. Look forward to it. Excellent.
