We loved everything about this stay! They’ve been open for under a year, so if you like us look for places with lots of reviews don’t be put off by it’s small number of reviews. It was our favourite place we stayed in while travelling Rajasthan. From the stylish, comfortable room to the generosity of the wonderful couple running the place. The grounds are perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the early morning or evening. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner was hearty and full of flavour. We really felt at home here. The train station is next door which was so handy for us, but there is no noise heard from it. Book it, you won’t regret it! They were even so nice to make us takeaway sandwiches for our early train.

Soooo perfect! Bilal was so helpful, such a kind host. He helped us with everything and make us feel at home. After only one day of staying he already felt like family. Also his thali's were delicious!

A little oasis of calm from all the hustle and bustle of solo travel on a motorbike. The whole family who own Udai Niwas were warm and welcoming and I loved chatting to them over breakfast. They all have a wealth of knowledge about the area and where to go etc. A really great place to stay, nothing was too much trouble. I don't normally score stays this high, but I thought it was truly worthwhile. You can eat in the Café, more western style food, or you can order more traditional Indian dishes from the restaurant and they will get it delivered. I liked the place so much I stayed an extra day just to chill out before a big ride to Jaisalmer.
