This was one of the best places we stayed in India. The owners are super nice and accommodating. You can tell they have years of experience, for instance there is free filtered water, tea and coffee available all day, and a yummy breakfast. The rooms are super clean, there is good pressure hot water, screens in the windows and the beds are comfortable. The location directly on Princess Street can’t be better.

Brilliant place to stay, safe and quiet neighborhood 10 mins walk from fort kochi area and 15 mins from the palace. Manoj and family team were great, had us trying a new kerala breakfast everyday, helped us out with getting our train tickets for our onward journey. Big bed, great AC and fan, good mosquito netting all over the house, didn’t get any bites inside the room. Would definitely recommend staying here. Very clean!

premises are exceptionally designed and well located; the hosts are engaging and provide authentic Keralan homestay cooking (breakfast and dinner) and are delightful and helpful with travel arrangements (facilitating transport and recommending next homestay). Location is great, walking distance to everything like tourist spots, beach, shopping, resturants but quiet plcace in Fortnagar. Big room with shared spcaces, cold water,coffee, tea provided in common area. The owner is very helpful and friendly, quick response when we ask anythings in the massage box or whatsapp. She arranged our airport transfer, cap for city transfer cities and booked train tickets for us,

My stay at Guestland Homestay was far beyond what I could have imagined – it was a transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a unique hospitality that made me feel at home instantly. The host was attentive to every detail and offered me genuine care, providing valuable tips that enriched my trip in a special way. Thanks to her, I explored incredible places that few people know about and discovered the best the area has to offer. The location of Guestland is excellent, providing easy access to the main attractions as well as those unique, less-known spots. The convenience of being close to everything I needed made my days easier and so much more enjoyable. More than just a place to stay, it was like finding a new family. The host welcomed me with such warmth that it felt like I was among long-time friends. Every conversation and shared moment was memorable, leaving an impression I’ll carry with me. I wholeheartedly recommend Guestland Homestay, and I’ll definitely return to relive this wonderful experience.

The room was spotlessly clean and just a 10 min walk down to the main hub. Lakshmi was great helping us with any questions. Kitchen and communal area were well equipped with everything you need. Filtered water was a great bonus with a fridge to keep drinks cold. The rooms were a decent size as was the bathroom. Amazing value for money.

    Charlotte was incredibly kind and thoughtful giving us great suggestions, based on our enquirer. Her mum made us lovely breakfast in the open plan kitchen/diner. Christopher showed us a project he was working on and spent time pulling together articles based on a conversation we had. He even sent us off with his favourite incense after we went to his favourite local store and bought perfume. A wonderful stay. We highly recommend Walton’s Homestay.

    The location of Walton’s is perfect, right in the middle of Fort Kochi, whilst being quiet and peaceful. The Walton family are experts in looking after their guests, giving excellent advice on restaurants etc. My husband’s suitcase didn’t arrive at Kochi, and Charlotte made it her mission to get it to the home stay before we left, phoning the airline and “encouraging” them to sort it out, which they did. The room was simple but comfortable, looking on to a garden courtyard, full of plants about which Mrs Walton has a great knowledge.
