I had a wonderful stay at Niyati Home Stay. The father and his two sons were incredibly hospitable, and I felt very well taken care of. The room had everything I needed, including a hot shower. The property itself is a beautifully maintained garden where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the mornings and evenings. I’d also like to point out that you should definitely follow the hosts’ recommendation and have breakfast at the place across the street — it was absolutely delicious! I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the family as well. I had the problem that no ATM in Gokarna accepted my debit card, and the two sons supported me so kindly in finding a way to get cash. Thank you so much for your help! I would be very happy to return anytime.

We found a gem in the rural area in the outskirts from Gokarna but it is possible to reach main beach within 20 minutes by scooter . The staff was super friendly and helped us on arrival with a scooter. Check in was easy and fast . The pool was clean and big / deep enough for swimming and with openings in the evening . The food offered in the restaurant was very good and tasty , breakfast time was little late for us so no comment on this . We went to the beach area and found a local restaurant.

The host has a gift to gather nice people together. Therefore, we had a pleasure to meet and spend time with not only locals but also some fellow travellers. The property itself is in very nice tranquil location, has a cute backyard with atmospheric environment to chill. Plenty of beach restaurants around. Even arranged us a last minute surfing lesson!
