Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.

The best place to have relaxing days. The property manager Arun was extremely kind and happy to provide whatever we needed. He also showed us the nature around, and did a 1h trekking to watch sunrise from the mountain. I loved the fresh watermelon juices, and drinking them in the pool. I would totally come back :D!!!

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful homestay nestled among the cardamom plantations in Munnar. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the location felt like a hidden gem far from the typical tourist spots. Abin, went above and beyond to helped me explore breathtaking places nearby, like serene waterfalls and scenic tea estates, which I had all to myself. The hospitality here was exceptional. Abin’s dad gave me a tour of their lush garden, where I got to taste fresh mangosteens right from the tree! His mom’s cooking was delicious and very reasonably priced, making each meal a memorable part of my stay. This homestay was the highlight of my Kerala trip, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to experience the beauty and warmth of Munnar in a peaceful setting

very quiet in the nature. lovely man who arranged food and chai for us. the owner was very lovely and drove us to our next destination. he was very warm and friendly and drove us home a lovely way through the best forest area we have seen here.

Everything. People there are really nice. Location is great because out of the city. The view from the guest house on the forest is really nice. They also propose activities like trekking etc. Breakfast and evening food is great as well. I recommend it !

I had a wonderful stay here--such a beautiful house, with an extraordinary view--but even still, the best part was Benny's family itself. Everyone takes part in taking care of guests, here and there, including the guesthouse's namesake, Sceva--a very smart, kind, and curious child! I'll always remember sitting by the pool and reading poems aloud with her. Benny is also just terrific--he called up tuktuks for me whenever I needed, ordered dinners for us (also delivered by tuktuk!) if we decided to eat in, and also arranged my nine-hour drive north to Wayanad. (The driver did a really great job, too--I felt safe and comfortable the whole time.) And of course, the breakfasts were delicious--fresh-cooked and straight from the kitchen! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Thoppil. Very beautiful surroundings with waterfall and swimming possibilities, clean and cozy room and absolutely delicious homemade Kerala food. It is easy to go to Munnar by local bus, car or tuk tuk. The owners are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do. They helped us book a half day hike with a guide in the tea plantations, which was very beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend to stay at Thoppil homestay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the mistletoe homestay. Above all we appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially Joe and his family. The food was great and we received a lot of trip ideas. For sure, we will return the next time we're around Munnar.
