The property was set in the middle of the tea plantations and had excellent views. The room was a great size. We had a very warm welcome from Taj and his wife and we really enjoyed chatting with them throughout our stay. They couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely. Umesh is a fantastic cook - his breakfasts were delicious, with something different on offer each day, and dinners were equally delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so well looked after.

A Hotel run by a Colonel! Lots of army memorabilia - veey homely with lovely big rooms. The breakfasts and restaurant were great - lots of food , very tasty and reasonable prices. The hotel is set back from the road with a small veranda which you can chill out on. There also patking for a few cars/mbikes. The hotel is in a great location - quiet but very close to the town centre - 5 mins walk. We went for a night and stayed for three and didnt really want to leave!

A nice enough room with a pleasant balcony and a garden to sit in. Lovely views over the lake. Location is 400m from the train and bus station, at the quieter end of town. We were kindly lent a kettle for our 4 night stay. Very hot water Helpful owners.
