The host, Ashok, was very helpful and guided us throughout our trip. He also arranged a vehicle for us to tour around. The place itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had soaps etc.. and there was a balcony which we enjoyed to have our morning tea. There is also a kitchen where we could cook few things. The location is also perfect to visit the temple. Overall, it was comfortable and safe in this homestay. Highly recommend!

This was an exquisite place to stay in Trivandrum and is easily the best place I have had the fortune of staying in during my recent travels in Sri Lanka and India. I feel so blessed to have been able to experience the kindness and warmth of the hosts Shyla and Anil Kumar and had have really enjoyed getting to know them and experiencing their generous hospitality. The property is incredibly well designed and immaculate in its presentation. Teak woods adorns this imposing home with very high ceilings and a real sense of architectural flair. I really found how it was laid out fascinating and would be delighted if I ever got to own something myself. The room was excellent and was generous in size, although even if it smaller it wouldn't have mattered as there is so much living space inside this stately home. The bed was perfect and I got a great night's sleep as the house is located in a quiet location away from traffic. The bathroom was was very well maintained and like my room and the rest of the house was kept in immaculate condition. There are food options about 1km away, however I was so impressed with the food that was given to me at breakfast, I was delighted to take up Shyla and Anil's offer to provide dinner for me. The food was incredible. What a fabulous experience! Shyla and Anil are excellent cooks and as other gusets have commented, a lot of the fruit and vegetables they use (papaya, chillis, coconuts) come from their garden. What they charged was not nearly as much as they should have. The food was marvellous :) Most of all what I liked was the interaction I had with Anil and Shyla. I felt very much at home but also gained a sense of what it was like to live with a Indian family in Kerala. While they were making dinner I watched some local TV programs (talk shows, soapies, gameshows and news) some of which were apparently made in Kerala and then when dinner was served joined Shyla and Anil for an enjoyable meal and great conversation!

- Graffith and his parents walk the extra mile to give their guests a great time. Griffiths mom, Mary, prepares incredibly tasty Keralan food 👌 - I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room. It was spacious and very clean. The airco was strong. - Around the house is a beautiful garden with various kinds of exotic trees. I loved spending time in their shade reading a book. - It's located in a quiet area, which resulted in quality sleep. - It's only a 10 min. walk to St. Andrews Beach. - I had a wonderful 4 day stay. I warmly recommend this homestay! 🙏🇮🇳❤

The property is clean, comfortable and relaxing. They even provide a living area with a sofa, table and plates etc for a nice place to have dinner. I have been unwell and the hosts went out of their way to get me medicine and even offered to call the doctors for me! Such a wonderful couple who have showed so much kindness and care towards us during our stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area it is great value for money and the hosts make it even better with their kindness and hospitality!
