Home away from home. We never felt like staying in resort. Kids playing , we sipping tea in sitting area, playing chess, Varma , watching TV, reading newspaper at top view tower. Bed is quite comfortable, bathroom top notch clean . Clean and elegant and spacious. Breakfast is homemade and delicious .

We had a lovely stay with great help and advice from owner Rahul, who gave us a warm introduction, good tips and made sure we had all we needed. He also kindly introduced the garden, plantation and herbs. Spending the morning on the balcony facing the plantation, lush vegetation and flowers, watching birds was a delight. We came as a family and had good space in our room with two double beds and a nice bathroom. I’ll recommend to also book a cooking class with Rahul’s mother. It was a treat and we learned how to make a home cooked Kerala meal, starting with picking coconut and curry leaves from the garden.

Roney and Divya were superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Roney brought me speciality indian teas regularly and advised me on the best sights to see (of which the Edakkal caves ...6000 b C cave carvings only 8,ks away) was an absolute must. The upstairs guest level is the highest level of luxury decor I've come across in India. Marble floors, beautiful bathroom/toilet, aircon, and a lovely large balcony with hanging cane chair to enjoy the jungle view. I couldn't rate this homestay too highly

Everything!!! We arrived, saw the room, and immediately booked an extra night. Tibin was a great host. He made sure we were comfortable and booked taxis and tuk tuks for us. He took us on a really informative coffee plantation tour, including seeing it harvested. The room was big, clean, comfortable, and a great balcony overlooking the plantation. The location is a little way from town, but a few minutes in a tuk tuk. We hired a scooter to get about. We were also looked after by Mr Purushothaman, who cooked some incredible Kerela food, and Mr Puttannan, who made sure we'd got everything we needed. He also showed us things in the plantation and was very proud of it. This was one of the best homestay's we've stayed in, and will hopefully return one day!
