The location is great, it's quiet, and just a beautiful and old traditional Japanese guesthouse. The host was extremely polite and friendly, and gave me a tour of the history of the house and his family when I arrived, which I highly appreciated. The host also drove me to Kawaguchiko station when I left which was great.

a guesthouse owned by a super kind family. the dormitory is spacious and very comfortable, you can easily meet the other travelers. the owner is always there to answer questions and give tips on the area. on a clear day, from the balcony, you can see Mt. Fuji. The free bikes is an amazing idea, it’s easy to get around with it and you can do a lot of things in the area! i loved every bits of my trip.

Amazing stay! The owners are very nice and super helpful. Gave us a lot of recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. We rented the bikes and had a cycle around the lake, definitely recommend! The japanese style room was good sized and very comfortable for two people. The bathroom was shared but didn't create any problems. Very nice shared kitchen and lounge area. I would definitely stay here again!
