First, the design of the house is super western and super beautiful just right infront of ski slopes. I have a once in a lifetime view from my room and also breakfast area! Second, that's the only hostel comes with private room (as far as I know). Third, I actually paid for the breakfast and dinner and I NEVER REGRET to do so (even though you can have some food out there but is abit far). The dinner is just WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL. Experience yourself and you will know what I meant. It is Extremely exceeded my expectation, even after so many days I am back to my country while I writing this review, I am still so in love of everything I have experience here. Come here during winter, must come. And I'm super pleased to be served by the old couple, so simple, so genuine, soooo awe!

Super cosy, beautifully decorated and very snug for a winter visit in the snow. Amazingly hosted with a Christmas dinner, ideas for local trips and a great location for skiing!

We particularly love its antique Japanese taste. The inside bedroom and restrooms are super clean. The location is super good. Easy to travel within the village. You may feel the setting of the entrance passage looks like a movie setting. It will give you special memories years later when you look back now.

We loved the house. You can see the owner has put her heart and soul into the place. The facilities were fantastic. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable. There were games which our kids were able to use and it really helped make their stay enjoyable. The bedrooms were spacious and had great air-conditioning. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again in the future if we came back this way. Thank you for a pleasant and lovely stay.

I stayed for four nights here and absolute perfect experience. The house owners are a family with a kid. And can communicate with Cantonese, Chinese, English, Japanese and even Thai. They are very friendly and introduced the ski resort with nearby onsen. The room is clean and large enough for 2-3 ppl. Although the house don’t have the onsen,it only need 1 mins walk to a free public onsen. Lawson and central rope way is 5-10 mins walk. Generally I strongly recommend to all people that love staying in guest house. Totally worth it. Especially for someone is solo ski trip.

I spent one night here and would have loved to stay longer. Hide-san created a little paradise in his house. As a solo traveller or couple, if you are looking for a social/local experience with long nights of talking and sharing with the other guests, this is the perfect place. Home-cooked dinner based on donation was the best food I've had in Japan so far.
