Our stay with Anou was wonderful. The house is about a 20 min walk from the centre of town or a quick Tuk-tuk ride. Nice and quiet during the night! Our room was spacious, light and very comfortable. Anou is a fantastic host and spoilt us with fresh fruit, baking and desserts. She was always available if we had any questions. I would recommend staying with Anou without hesitation.

Tha and his family were great hosts! The location was close to the river and town, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, with outside space to relax and eat breakfast! This was an amazing rural experience 20 minutes outside of Siem Reap town! We got live the life of Meta (the host) for a couple days, which was truly insightful into authentic Cambodian life. Meta was a great host, and took us to his rice farm to catch frogs, snake and crabs to feast on (for free!) He also took us the local silk and crocodile farm. The homestay is tucked away amongst rice fields and has a little shop next door for beer etc. Thank you Meta for a wonderful time! :)

We had a wonderful time at Metas Homestay. Meta and his family and friends are great hosts and showed us the real Cambodian lifestyle. We learned so much about the country and had this great opportunity to look behind the touristic phasade of the country and get insights in rice harvest, Cambodian family life and Cambodian daily life routines.

The hostel is located in a silent surrounding and very close to Angkor Wat. Downtown Siem Reap can also be reached with a short bicycle ride. Renting a bicycle at the homestay was simple and easy. In the homestay you can get very good and affordable fried rice, noddles and beverges. The room was very big with two levels. But only upper level had AirCon in my room. As I was solo travel this was not an issue. The host family is very kind and friendly. For the price this place is potentially unbeatable.
