It was like staying at your relative’s house. Felt like home. The hosts were very helpful nice people. Room was large and clean. Price was decent and they provide Tuktuk service and scooter for rent. Overall was fantastic. Also got help for ordering food as it was late and exchange of currency.

Kumudu was very helpful all the time although we just stayed for one night. We were allowed to use his kitchen without any extra fee. The WIFI also did his job. Showering was able with WARM water.

Everything was amazing. The place, the house, the rooms, the view from everywhere on the property and especially from the roof, the breakfast is so good and the quiet pool next door overlooking mountains and jungle is perfect around sunset. But the best was the people there. Piyal and his wife makes this place so warm and unique, you feel the love they feel for and put into this place and they welcome you like family. I left with a full heart. Thank you.

We only stayed for 1 night but from the moment we entered the door, it was like being at home with family. The house is beautiful and Ayesha and her family were so kind! They fed us an amazing feast for dinner and breakfast the next day, some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. The views from the house are incredible, peace and quiet away from the bustle of Kandy, although only a short drive in if you want to go to the lake, temples etc.

Fantastic breakfast every day, Damika, Indra and Nirosh very exceptionally friendly and embraced our free-spirited children ;) Spectacular view from the terrace (you really can see deer). Nirosh took us down to the river and showed us how to catch fish and crabs, which the kids really enjoyed. Also, Peradeniya is a very nice area of Kandy.

The best thing about this place though is the family, I will never forget how warm hearted they were and instantly felt like they cared for me. Beautiful environment, and a balcony better than any other we've found, superbly clean.owner and his wife are wonderful hosts, home cooked food was the best we've tasted in Sri Lanka. An absolute gem of a homestay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room and the bathroom — spotlessly clean, the bed — comfy, dinner and breakfast that the lady owner cooked for me — filling and tasty. What more is there to ask for?
