I loved my stay at this place. I came here after a rough day and as soon as I arrived I forgot about it and felt very warm welcomed from this family. Everything is clean, the beadroom and washroom is big. There‘s also a terrace where you can enjoy sunset and the delicious breakfast and dinner (you can get it there for a good price and it’s homemade by the family). If you like nature and silence, this is the perfect place. The owner also helped me out to plan my next stepps and told me some nice places - thank you for that! I enjoyed my stay a lot and would hardly recommend this place - I would love to come back!

French family, we traveled to Sri Lanka with our 3 kids, 17, 21 and 25 years old. We loved everything! The place, the surroundings, the atmosphere, and moreover Anushka and his family. If you're looking for authenticity, simplicity and exceptional human relationships you'll be at the right place. Anushka is a perfect driver and guide. He picked us up at the airport with a van as we were traveling with our 3 kids and drove us to his house where we stayed for 5 days. We felt immediately at home and spent wonderful moments all together. Anushka brought us to amazing places, temple on top of a mountain with perfect view, river to have a bath every evening, tea factory, Ayurveda botanical garden, restaurant near waterfalls, and a place where we spent a perfect time with elephants, having a ride with them, washing them in the river and giving them some food. Such an amazing experience! He also waited for us in Nanu Oya train station to bring us back to his home after an unforgettable train journey to see the tea plantations. Always ready to make us discover new things, exotic fruits we could buy on our way, animals like monkeys, porcupine, giant lizards and giant bats, answering all questions and so interesting when speaking about his country. He can arrange you any tour you'd like to discover Sri Lanka, always helpful and reactive, you can trust him for everything. And what we loved the most are the precious moments we spent with his family. They are all wonderful people we'll stay in contact with for sure. For those who don't speak English good to know that his sister speaks perfectly French ( she's a teacher) and she's also super friendly and interesting. We spent unbelievable evenings all together, singing loud, and dancing, and having BBQ party. Thank you Anushka for everything, for being you, for introducing us to your family, for having such a great heart, and for having printed in our soul precious and unforgettable memories 🥰

Jungle Village Homestay is amidst thick dense forest and it is apt for people travelling to spend some quality time with nature. The homestay is surrounded by their farm and the owner's mother was very keen on explaining every crop and tree she grows there. I went with my mother and father and they were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the host and this was our first day stay after we landed in lanka. truly a great way to start our Sri Lankan Trip. Thank you very much Mr. Ravi for a wonderful stay.

Everything is likable there .. location was away from the hustle.. surrounded by flora and fauna.. Gigantic rooms with the utmost clean and tidiness .. Wide balcony where you can just sit and chill.. From your bed you can see elephants roaming in their enclosure .. Hosts' hospitality is worth mentioning .. and last but not the least 'Home cooked breakfast was mouth watering'.. Highly recommended ...!!!

Gluten free meal available,it's gorgeous breakfast of Hotel I've ever seen. They are so kind!! Wi-Fi level/Excellent Clean,Hot water available. AC is nice.

Absolutely wonderful location, elephants passing by our room was just amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Made our holiday very special staying here.

We had such a lovely time here. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is super comfortable. We did the cooking class and it was a blast, the lady is so fun :) The owner of the house and his family are so nice. Would definitely recommend a stay here, outside of the chaos of the city.

The most amazing homestay ever! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Firstly, the room has high ceilings and a beautiful balcony as well as a true king sized bed (one of the comfiest beds I have slept on). Secondly, the family is so kind and helpful. Truly felt like family staying here- they helped me order Uber eats to the house and you also have the option of ordering breakfast, lunch and dinner for an additional cost with the homestay. I ordered breakfast with them and it was delicious and worth the cost! Fresh fruits and omelette and dosas with chutney (there are also continental options). It is about a 15 minute drive to town so you are away from the noise and bustle of Kandy city (after spending time during the day in Kandy I was really happy to have my oasis at night). Tuk tuks to and from the stay cost 600-800 depending on your driver, but Vipul will drive you anywhere you need for a price if you have a hard time getting a Tuk Tuk. Everything was so clean and fresh, the bathroom was modern and I was able to do laundry with them for a small cost as well. I am going to miss this place and will return back if I am ever in Kandy again :)

Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, friendly host

What a wonderful place this is, this homestay has to be the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay in their homestay and in Kandy as amazing as possible. The hospitality we have experienced here has been unmatched so far (from giving us recommendations on what to do, picking us up from the bus free of charge, arranging day trips and sharing their knowledge about Sri Lanka). When booking this homestay please do yourself a favour and try the amazing food here. Everyday at breakfast we were served with new Sri Lankan delicacies and the variety of food (dhal, curry sambal, different juices, parotta, hoppers -> if you don't know what hoppers are, please try them at the Comfort, fresh fruit etc.) is unmatched. The dinner was amazing as well. The rooms itself are spacious and very clean. The property itself is located in the gorgeous hills of Kandy in a beautiful and peaceful location. The city center is only a short drive away. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness! You made our trip to Kandy truly special.
