He and his family do all they can to make your vacation best possible. Excellent food. Only 300 meters down to the magnificent Talalla beach, and only a short tuk tuk ride to good surfing beaches.

International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients. What a great stay. The hosts are super friendly and offered tea when we arrived. the room is spacious and clean. mosquito net is not damaged and the ventilator works well. breakfast and dinner are very delicious and we recommend to buy dinner from the hosts (900lkr/person). specially to point out is the big balcony with seating area and roof covered. during our stay we had a rainy afternoon and it was perfect to hang out outside. the house is on a silent location and one of the nicests beaches we visited just 100m away. nearby is a small shop where you can buy water and snacks.

Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

The very quiet Gardens, the lovely breakfasts, beautiful empty beach, lovely pool and courteous attentive staff. We had a gorgeous room with an out door,roll top bath. If you're looking for a quiet beach, this will hit the spot. The waves are strong so probably best for confident swimmers though you won't have to be an Olympian! The main house is also gorgeous with an airy colonial vibe. Evening meals can be taken at the beach restaurant over the road ( not a busy road). The place is gated with a 24hour watch for the security minded. Various swings, hammocks and board games dotted around. Peacocks, bee-eaters, monitor lizards and chipmunks abound. Heard a Coppersmith Barbet but didn't see it. Fruit bats fly over at sunset. Heaven!

I would write a poem to this place if I could! This hotel, its owners Jeremy and Julia and the team made our holiday. We planned to spend there 4 nights and go further, but everything was so good, and we decided to spend here the rest of our holiday. Everything was spotless: room, team, breakfast, swimming pool, beach, ocean — just everything. Two things that you should know. First: there are many nice restaurants around, though there is nothing on google maps. Second: you definitely have to see the shop on the second floor, because Julia creates amazing clothes.
