The room was clean, spacious, with a balcony overlooking the.green hills, perfect for chilling..There is hot water in the shower, which is really nice in not so hot evening temperatures. The owner was really helpful and kind, he helped me.organise few trips and recommended a reliable ruk tuk driver and offered advice on things to/see and how to do it. I cannot recommend it enough!

Nice and cozy little place in Dickoya runned by a very nice family. 5 min walk to a beautiful tea plantation where you can walk for hours and enjoy the view. We rented a scooter from the owner and he recommend places to visit which was a perfect day driving around incredible nature and spectacular views. We ate all our meals in the homestay which I recommend, Sri Lankan kottu was amazing:) Also, they washed some laundry for us free of charge:)

A wonderful simple & authentic home stay. The owners (mother & son) were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The tea & cake on arrival were very welcome! It was the perfect overnight stay before doing the 10minute walk to Nanuoya train station the next day. Would highly recommend.

The room cleanliness and the bed comfort with clean sheets. All rooms have balconies with sitting area and mountains view. All rooms have a private bathroom and shower with water heater. The gentleman and his wife working there were very kind and helpful and will facilitate your stay. The food portions they served are enough for at least 2 people. The morning herbal soup is refreshing, and the dhal curry is the tasties I've ever had. Mostly, I enjoyed the view of the mountains and the tea gardens with the birds chirping in the morning. No room has AC, but you can always open the balconies doors and let the cold, fresh breeze circulate in. Temperature at night reaches 15 deg C.

We had the most amazing stay here!! The staff are so kind and helpful, even helping us with our laundry and arranging for transportation. The view out our window was stunning, overlooking the tea plantations. Also highly recommend this local village Nanu Oya over Nuwara Eliya as it was much more relaxed and felt local. Also handy being right next to the train as we came from Ella. The shower the best we had in Sri Lanka, and nice addition having tea and coffee in the room with a kettle.
