I've been in Morocco a month, this place is beautiful and exceptional in every way. Brand new lodging that has been tastefully and carefully designed with traveler's comfort in mind— it seems no details have been overlooked. Spacious rooms, that are as SILENT AS THE DESERT, truly, the walls are made from natural materials, so if you've been to the desert you know what I'm talking about, you feel you're in a little protected, safe haven of a cocoon that is so cozy and blissfully silent— I slept 12 hours a night and never wanted to leave. It was amazing. Their furniture is hand carved, lots of shelves to stay tidy, tasteful, simple uncluttered decor, screens on windows, rugs with no shoes inside so nice and clean, the softest beds, super comfy pillows and sheets, awesome super absorbent fluffy towels; slanted floors in bathroom to prevent the dreaded Moroccan chronic wet bathroom problem, the hot water DOES NOT RUN OUT OR GLITCH, soft lighting, sunset views, sweeping vistas outside, and the WIFI! I could write love sonnets about the speed and reliability of the wifi— everywhere— it is throughout the accomodation and it is incredibly fast. everywhere. I am in shock and awe and gratitude. Common rooms are lovely and creative. The breakfast was delicious, they put roses in their tea, and the body wash was amazing, and they were lovely, kind and helpful hosts. Really I can't give enough stars. I'd live here if I could.

A little slice of paradise a few kilometres out from the town centre of Kalaat MGouna (The valley of the Roses) which is easily accessible using public transport. A tranquil oasis with stunning views of the surrounding area. Plenty of terraces to get away from the bustle of modern life and soak in the picturesque beauty. The accommodation is fantastic, Brigitte and the staff feel more like a family. The food was traditional Moroccan, each meal was exceptional. This is one place we will return to again.

This Kasbah-style property is located in Roses Valley within a 5-minute drive from Kelaat Mgouna.

Kasbah Chems is a truly magical place with jaw-dropping views, rich cultural adventures, and heartwarming people. We absolutely loved our stay here. Mustapha and Said from the Kasbah organized everything for us so well, including a day in the garden of the roses, trekking along the gorge with a picnic, and a night of unforgettable live Berber music. Breakfast on the terrace was made extra special with delicious local food served next to trays of hand-picked flowers. The warmth and humor of the service we received here is unmatchable and made us feel part of a Moroccan home. We can only recommend this place and for future visitors, perhaps we will see you there as we surely will be back! Mustapha, Said, Naima and team, we will see you again, Inshallah ;)

We were helped from the moment we booked it. The host are very nice and will always give their best. Everything from the food to the rooms and the food was absolutely perfect. We would recommend to stay at least one day but if possible as many days as you can!

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, the hosts were always attentive and eager to make our stay unforgettable. We enjoyed quiet mornings coffee and watching the sunsets, as there is an outlook to mountains from the property. Breakfasts were varied and always prepared on time and the tajine dinner we ordered was the best we ate in the region :) This is 1 h drive from Dades and 1,5 from Todra canyon so you can come here for both relax and sightseeing. Do not refuse the offer to the walk to the rose valley with the host Ali, as you will lose much :)
