Had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean with great views of the valley and mountains. Staff provided all amenities on check in (clean towel, soap, toilet paper) and always made sure any of my requests were met. Breakfast was included for free and dinner provided at a cheap price. There were some issues with warm water for shower however staff gave me keys for another room that had a working shower AND a gas stove to warm water when I wanted for baths. Overall very happy and great value.

Everything is fine, Tahir, the owner of the facility, is an exceptionally helpful and obliging person. If you want, he will organize a trip around the area on his motorcycle or car. Hospitality above standard, I definitely recommend it to future guests.

I had an excellent stay at Northlander Guest House.The hospitality was warm, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every need was met, and the service was quick and professional .mehdi and haider shared local stories by bonfire which was so much entertaining . One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Arsalan was an exceptional host and took great care of me during my stay. From the scrumptious green tea and cookie on arrival through to the unforgettable tours that he took me on with excellent value. And when I came down with food poisoning from a local eatery, he went over and above to ensure I was taken care of and nursed back to health. Furthermore, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the WiFi was top notch for this region. Also the shower had excellent hot water and they have solar power so any local power outages will not disrupt you. They also have an additional cafe on site where you can enjoy local and international cuisine from their local chef. Skardu is an amazing place and if you have the opportunity to visit, there is no other place I recommend more because honestly Arsalan deserves to have this place booked out every night. I feel so privileged to have stayed here and meet such a gracious host and his lovely and warm family.

The family was really welcoming and incredibly helpful. Was able to rent a motorbike here, got great advice on what to do, they arranged pick up at the airport, drop off at the bus, arranged for me to meet a local guide and even invited me into their home for a lovely traditional dinner. Couldn’t recommend it more.
