We had an unforgettable stay at Rooms Barovc by Lake Jasna—a true gem nestled right by the serene Lake Jasna with stunning mountain views all around. The room was cozy, cute, and perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature’s beauty. What made our experience even more special was the kindness of the property owner, who generously gifted us a free night’s stay as a honeymoon gesture. It was such a heartwarming surprise and made our trip all the more memorable. Big cheers to this lovely property and its amazing host—we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape in the mountains!

The location was superb, directly on the Vrsic Pass from which you can do nice hikes, also the staff was very helpful and advised us where to go. What really impressed me was the cleaness of the whole property, and kind staff. We had dog with us and they loved him, it was no problem at all, there were more dogs besides ours. Moreover, the kitchen served tasty food which tasted even better after nice hike.

It was such a welcoming place with incredible food, I'm sorry I only stayed one night. The accommodation is basic but perfect. I met the most interesting people in this house and the staff were some of the most wonderful people you would ever meet. Great location with a very friendly host. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The other facilities like the kitchen and bathroom were also very clean and were never inconvenient despite them being shared. The host is very welcoming and helped us several times during our stay.

An incredible experience at Maison Lenka! Katja and Charly are wonderful hosts. They gave us a warm welcome and recommended outdoor activities in the area. The loft has everything you need, is comfortable, and is tastefully decorated. We regret not staying a little longer in Rateče and Maison Lenka.

This looks like a mountain hut from the outside. But don't be fooled. It's a fully renovated building with all the amenities and feel of a great hostel including a full service kitchen, bar, warm showers and really comfortable beds. Staff were fantastic with all of their local advice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. And those views are just unbeatable for a location accessible by road.
