This is a truly unique place to spend a few days in Old Town. We booked for 3 days and stayed for over a week. The rooms are diverse, clean and very nicely decorated. The shared bathroom is ok, close to the entrances to the rooms. There is a kitchenette downstairs where you can prepare meals. Manager Ton is great! We spent a lot of time talking. He recommends good and cheap restaurants, rents a scooter, and organizes trips. He speaks English well, so communication is great. But probably the most important thing is what kind of people come there. These are people who want to really feel the atmosphere of Thailand. Thanks for this time and we recommend this place to everyone!

I loved that there were only a few bungalows in a quiet location, reception also is a little cafe! The room was spotless and we found the beds really comfortable! Bonus was that the staff were really friendly and left us fresh towels and water everyday and offered to clean the room daily too! It really added to our stay in Koh Mook and the A/C worked brilliantly!

100 foot out from the shore, this traditional pier house, built from wood, is the most beautiful apartment on Koh Lanta. Shared patio at end with lights, tables, cushions. I love the ambience of Lanta Old Town, as this traditional building is right in centre. Only one night, but I adored this place.

The location was everything, we were close to all the best beaches of Koh Lanta and to the national Park. For all our French out there, it's also 5 min walking from the Koh Lanta totem from the TV show. The room was big and clean. We had a little balcony which was convenient to dry beach cloth after swimming. But what we liked most was the owner, a very sweet lady so helpful and joyful. She showed us a hidden spot to enjoy the sunset and help us book an amazing snorkeling tour to Koh Rok. Highly recommend to stay there!

Mangrove House is an exceptional place with a very hospitable manager, Kai. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with fresh fruit! The premises are so beautiful, and taken care after. One feels like being at home. It is in the center of town (Lanta Old Town is lovely and different than any other place we have been in Thailand) yet very calm. The room was very spacious and very comfortable, had all the amenities needed. It was marvelous to sleep right next to the sea. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view and the sound of the waves on the terrace. It was deifinitely one of the most beautiful places we stayed during the trip - and we are looking forward to come back in the future!
