If you're looking for a special place to stay in Moshi, look no further than Nyota Safari Lodge — truly one of the best hostels in town! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The owner is just amazing — attentive, warm, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully maintained, giving a surprisingly luxurious feel for a hostel. I especially loved the authentic African dinners — so flavorful and delicious — and the breakfast was absolutely worth it, a perfect start to every day. The garden is just lovely — peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing. And the sitting area is simply incredible — cozy, stylish, and a great place to unwind or chat with fellow travelers. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and would highly recommend Nyota Safari Lodge to anyone visiting Moshi. Can’t wait to come back!

At the end of a two-week safari, I spent two wonderful and heartfelt days at Sophie Homestay. The family is very warm and welcoming. Through Sophie, I learned a lot about modern Africa. Karibu Africa Home is a really great place to stay whilst in Moshi. The whole place has a nice atmosphere, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location is wonderful, close to the city and yet in a quiet and nice neighborhood with good restaurants in walking distance. The host Peter is great, very friendly and super helpful with anything we needed. We did a day excursion to the waterfall and coffee farm with him, which was very fun. He also showed us around the town, so we got to experience Moshi like a local. We were served breakfast in the morning which was very tasty as well. We would always come back!
