Everything was perfect! The home is very nicely decorated and furnished and very clean. Summer is very friendly and helpful and offers her guests support regarding activities and commuting to other cities etc. The food cooked by Summer's mother is super delicious. We had a great time and can truly recommend this place.

Wow! Location was excellent. Ben, his wife and staff were very welcoming and will make sure to provide everything you need during your stay. Their hospitality is excellent. Staying here, between different types of tropical (fruit) trees and nature will give you a good idea of local living and there is a lot of possibility for relaxation. We rented a scooter from Ben to visit the local town Bến Tre and were the only tourists during this afternoon which was interesting and a lot of fun. One day we also took the day tour to the Mekong Delta offered by the Homestay, which is quite touristic but worth it if you want to see a bit more of the area. During the evening, they can cook local type of foods for you, like Banh Xeo and taste fresh vegetables and fruit from their garden. The small bungalows were clean and modern. Overall this homestay has everything to offer and we would highly recommend! I have some small recommendations for people wanting to visit this area: - We stayed here two nights which I would recommend because it is a little bit isolated. You will enable yourself to explore the area. - This is much better than a day tour from HCMC because you will be able to explore local living. If you have the time. - From HCMC, you can take the Thao Chau from district 5 and they will drop you off at this homestay for an extra 50.000 VND. Our total, one-way, trip was 230.000 or around €9 for two people including this smaller transfer. - Just contact Ben if you need anything, he is the best.

A fantastic welcome from a local mother and son. They know thw area well and csn recommend things. The food is good and the beds were confortable. I suffered a heatstroke or a virus or both when there and they looked after me very well. The mother is a retired nurse and they are both kind.

When you want to realy see the Mekongdelta, dont take a Day tour but stay overnight (even better 2 nights) deeper in de delta. Mekong Home absolutely exceeded our expectations. The Location, The personell and the concept as such made us Fall in love with the place. Mekong Home is located by the river and the whole is fit in into lush green with some realy nice places to spend time and enjoy the Best Pina Colada ever to join the beuatiful sunset😀. The personell makes the difference. They take very good care of you from the beginning. There is some nice activities to do in the direct environment ro realy get to know the way of life outhere. The excellent feel for the small things which make you happy are unmet. Great inside how to make some excellent local dishes, we received an unexpected foot Bath before gling to sleep, some very small Coco souvenir etc. Very well done. We regret we took only 1 night because it is nice place to just relax as well, near the pool and enjoy the fantastic food, all local made with their own coconuts. The curry was unincredible. What they showed to us is how to make the cocomilk for that which is completely different quality then we buy at home. It turns out that they Press it only once instead of multiple times, the same as the difference in quality in Olive Oil pressed multiple times. And you taste it during whole your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The family is super sweet. The food and location was great. Once you have booked they will send you the details on how to reach the homestay, and it is easier than you might think. We were here during Tet and were invited to the celebrations with the family. The daughter Thuỷ will help you with anything you need. The organized our whole trip to Phu quoc. Due to the high demand on bus tickets we had quite the challenge but Thuỷ spent a whole afternoon making calls and helping us. Once we left she even packed us a picnic bag with fruits and sweets. If you want to hang out with really friendly people this is the place. Will come back someday for sure!

Really beautiful place which felt a real escape after HCMC. Facilities are basic as you’d expect, but it was very comfortable - mosquito net worked well and we weren’t too hot at night with the fan. Owner is extremely helpful - we left something valuable there and he has been great in attempting to return it to us. Food was good, free water and coffee (in the mornings) a bonus.
