The mango guest house is really a little oasis on Elephantine Island. Mohammed was amazing to us and he allowed us to meet Ahmed who took us on his feluka. That was the highlight of this travel to Egypt. The hotel itself is calm, super clean, with a comfortable room. You have to take a boat to join the hotel but it passes often and only costs 10EGP per person.

The place is really new, all is painted in white, very clean, new furniture, great bed and very comfortable mattress, bed linen all white and fresh, also the towels. The room is totally worth the price, is even better than you except, it fulfills the european standars ( like german clean hotel). The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are also very quiet, a thing that is hard to find in Egypt. The wifi works perfectly, each room has a smart tv, you can use your Netflix account in case all the programs ( also many with american movies in english) are not enough. They have a terrace above with a beautiful view over the river where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very nice, it is traditional, but also they can make the eggs the way you like. The guest house is brand new, is a family business owned by JJ and Mona, who are amazing people, they take care of everything you need and are very warm, kind and welcoming people. They speak also good english so is very easy to get all the information you need. They offer services also for trips, to go visit the nubian village, the botanical garden or take a felucca ride for sunset at very good price. They are honest people. I talked to them a lot and are very open. I have been to many places and I can make a difference between a host who really cares about the wellbeing of the customers and the one who just does it for the business, definitely JJ and Mona are genuine carrying people. We loved them.

We received a great welcome by Baki and Mohammed who work at King Mina for client management and cooking. Not only were there friendly but they had great advice and stories to share about the local life in both Aswan and Elephantine The view of the Nile from the terrace is incredible

Rooms were functional, on the livelier side of Elephantine islands. Great views on the balcony for breakfast. Most importantly, staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. They provided advice on how to get to main sites in Aswan, helped us secure good prices and booked day trip to Abu Simbel. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Thank you again for making our stay on Elephantine very nice and memorable , I was truly overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality at this place. Ahmed the owner, along with his staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They arranged a car from the airport, and the driver was in touch with me well in advance of my arrival. Despite my late arrival, Ahmed prepared a delicious homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. She also organized a felucca ride on short notice, again at a fair rate. During our conversations, I shared some stories about my family who couldn’t join me on the trip. In a beautiful and thoughtful gesture, Ahmed gave a small gift for my wife and kids — a touching example of Nubian hospitality and culture that really stayed with me. On my first day, her son kindly accompanied me on the ferry to help me get familiar with the area — another thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. Every request I had was taken care of promptly and with genuine care. Do note that the place is located on an island, so you'll need to take a ferry to get in and out. The service is frequent, but it’s something to be aware of when planning. Overall, an exceptional stay with an incredibly kind and generous host family. : They arrange for me all tours around Aswan and Luxor with very reasonable prices I will come back sure

Το Nuba Heart είναι στο Ασουάν και διαθέτει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δωρεάν WiFi. Το κατάλυμα απέχει 7,6 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν, 24 χλμ από Kitchener's Island και 25 χλμ από Aswan High Dam. Located in the Nubian village, very quiet, ideal for resting. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very rich and abundant breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views. We also had dinner there at a very convenient price. Tamer took care of managing all the tours and making sure it was all good. His family is very nice.

Το ABU Guest House διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους. Great place. Great host Abu. It is on the island, and the quiet side of the island so it good for light sleepers (like me)

Το La Terrace είναι στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 22 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. Ένα καταπληκτικό μέρος για διαμονή, καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, με πολύ ωραία θέα στον ποταμό Νείλο και πολύ εύκολη πρόσβαση. Κυρίως όμως ο ιδιοκτήτης ο Μοχάμεντ, ένας πολύ καλός άνθρωπος πάντα διαθέσιμος να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε όλα. Μας κανόνισε τόσο μια εκδρομή στο ναό του Αμπου Σιμπέλ, όπως και κρουαζιέρα στον Νείλο σε πολύ καλές τιμές. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Το Airkela Nuba Dool 2 είναι στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 23 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. Προσφέρει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. Πολύ όμορφο κατάλυμα, καθαρό, κ φιλικό. Αυτό που ξεχώρισε ήταν η φιλικότητα της κυρίας Rawia η οποία νιώθεις σα να είσαι με κάποιο δικό σου άνθρωπο, ανεπανάληπτη! , καθώς κ του Αλί ανηψιου της Ο οποίος μας συνόδεψε σε 2 εκδρομές που μας πρότεινε, αυτή στο Νουβικο χωριό, κ αυτή στο βοτανικό κήπο με βαρκα, όλη την ώρα ήταν μαζί μας κ μας εξηγούσε για τα μέρη εκεί. Φοβερό αγόρι, συνηστω τις εκδρομές ανεπιφύλακτα. Τα δωμάτια άνετα κ καθαρά, το ξενοδοχείο με ωραίους χώρους σε ταράτσα κ δίπλα στο Νείλο. Βρίσκεται σε νησί αλλά πολύ εύκολα περνάς στην πολύβουη πόλη. Το νησί εξαιρετικό για την θέα κ την ηρεμία που χρειάζεται κάποιος.
