The location on the west bank, what for me was more interesting, is a small village, relax place and great view for Nile and the city. Super easy to go to the city by ferry boat, 10 Egyptian pounds, super cheap, working all day

It has an amazing view of Aswan from the island and the terrace gives a perfect spot to enjoy the view. The room was clean and comfortable. There are restaurants within walking distance through the sandy paths and the people on the island, including the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Airkela guest house is conveniently located just a few metres from the ferry pier on Elephantine Island. The room was spotlessly clean, with an amazing view over the Nile. Breakfast was superb.
