Located in St. John's, 2.4 km from Signal Hill and 80 metres from Government House, The Rendell Shea Manor provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The owner was fantastic at communicating everything about the property: sending the door code, explaining the parking, the use of the different rooms and of the kitchen, and even a bit of the history of the manor before we arrived. We stayed in the Mayor Shea Room. It was so spacious and comfortable. The mattress on the bed felt like it was new, and we slept well. The shower was good on pressure and temperature. The tub had jacuzzi jets, but we did not use that, just the shower. The location is in walking distance to many of the sights in the downtown historic area. We stayed one night, on a Sunday night, so we did not need to pay for parking. The owner will explain what to do if you are parking during the week. It was really a welcoming and positive experience. You will not be disappointed if you book this property. It will really give you a nice impression of St. John's. Thank you, we hope to return one day!

A recently renovated homestay located in Topsail, The Blue Jay Nest features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It met our expectations. They own added her own touch by making wonderful biscuits. There was also fruit and an assortment of breakfast bars. There was plenty of coffee and tea.

All units at the homestay are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Units include a kettle, while selected rooms also boast a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. At the homestay, units come with bed linen and towels. This was such a fun place. After the long drive up from Rocky Harbour, the two teens loved the game room and axe throwing. It was great for all of us to sprawl out and relax. The host, Paul, was super interesting and helped us whenever we needed it. He gave great recommendations for food, groceries, etc.

Absolutely loved my stay at Elizabeth Manor. Not only the place is comfortable, but it is also at a great location! Easy to access and is at a walkable distance from all the main spots. But the best part of this B&B is actually the host, Robert! Extremely nice and welcoming gentleman who would patiently sit with you and explain (with diagrams and maps) all the best spots to visit in St John's and NL. It was a great pleasure meeting him and staying at the manor. Thanks a bunch, Robert! I am definitely booking a room at your B&B the next time I visit St John's!
