Featuring garden views, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation offers accommodation with a shared lounge and a terrace, around 1.1 km from Aitutaki Beach. This guest house provides free private parking and free shuttle service. This place was easily the best place we’ve stayed during our 7 months of travelling!! Ned and Greta are just the most amazing hosts and will do everything to make sure you have an amazing stay. They picked us up at the airport and gave us a little tour of some of the best spots on the island. Ned even invited us to the golf club and offered to transport us so we could drink to our hearts content! We didn’t take up the offer of going with Ned on a lagoon tour as we had other plans the day they were heading out but it definitely sounded better than ours so make sure you go if you get the chance! There were bikes ready for us to rent straight away. They were very reasonably priced and when we had trouble getting it started whilst out and about, Ned was with us in minutes to help sort it. The place itself was absolutely spotless - genuinely never seen shared accommodation that was kept in such great condition. The bath mats and towels in the bathroom were replaced every day and they even changed the shower curtains, bathroom curtains and sofa covers whilst we were there. There was more kitchen equipment then you could possibly dream of and they even had things like sun block and insect spray if you needed it. The fresh fruit every day was also so lovely. The place was airy and light, rooms were really big and common spaces were lovely to relax in. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Not a bad word to say about this place and the hospitality of these guys is second to none.

Paparei is a lovely low key friendly convenient and very scenic and pleasant location. My favourite things were sitting on the deck watching the heron stalking fish, the chickens clucking around and the locals coming down to enjoy the water. I also enjoyed the antics of the common mynas even though the are an introduced species they are very charismatic. I also loved the adjacent Cafe Wokkai! 2 minutes to fish and chips I could bring back to eat on the deck?! Yes please!!

Everything, the staff, the atmosphere, the locals.. was all great. Was even surprised by the prices of goods in some of the shops. Overall, it was an excellent time spent with my son and his girlfriend. Keep it up, Aitutaki.

Great location for snorkelling etc. Great host who was able to take to take us out on his boat to see the whales, turtles, clams etc for an excellent price and who also had local knowledge of the area. Groovy little huts to stay in.

We had such a wonderful time staying here, everything we needed in our room, wonderful sunsets on the beach right there, snorkeling and everything else just a short scooter-ride away. And Nikki is such a super-lovely host! Meitaki maata Nikki! :)

great location, a number of little shops within 100 metres. The takeaway and grocery shop within walking distance is the place to meet the locals. The people are so friendly. Our hosts have scooters and bikes so its all organised for you, the hosts are so awesome.
