Hostal Palafito Waiwen se encuentra en Castro, a 18 min a pie de Playa Sabanilla, y dispone de terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

Hostal Casa Damasco se encuentra en Ancud, a 15 min a pie de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!

Chiloeislife se encuentra en Castro y ofrece alojamiento con terraza o balcón, wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, además de jardín y salón de uso común. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, limpias y con un adecuado espacio y distribución. Además de estar muy bien decoradas teniendo cada detalle que te hace sentir como en casa. EL desayuno es muy bueno, dispuesto de una manera impecable y de muy buena cantidad. Patricio es un excelente anfitrión y siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros sin importar la hora.
