For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

The owner, in particular, was extraordinary: he helped us organize memorable excursions and personally took care of booking taxis for both our arrival and departure. This level of attention and care made our stay truly special. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with every comfort. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the immaculate cleanliness. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is quiet and well-served, perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in the island’s beauty. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Cape Verde. Here, you’ll find not just a place to sleep but a true experience of hospitality. We will definitely be back! He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. His vast knowledge of the city and his extensive connections truly make him the go-to person for all things Santa Maria. Whatever we needed, Mr. Robert was there to assist us, proving that he is indeed the man who knows everything and everyone in town. Thanks to Mr. Robert, we were introduced to the phenomenal Kiteschool "Surf Shop Cabo Verde." Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. The professionalism of the instructors and their passion for kitesurfing were evident from the very beginning. Within just two days, my wife and I were able to kite almost independently, which was an absolute thrill. We are incredibly thankful to Mr. Robert for connecting us to this amazing kiteschool and making this experience possible. By the way, it is one of the best kiteschool in Santa Maria.
