We were made to feel very welcome by owners Monique and Henri. Even though we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English, we managed. The bedroom and lounge which were available for our use were very comfortable, as were the beds. We were welcomed to their table in the morning and shared a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't have wished for any more and would love to stay again. We left feeling almost like part of the family! Perfect hosts!

This property was absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the upper room. The windows view was great. The use of the stairs was slightly uncomfortable in the beginning but you get used to it quite fast. Very clean, excellent shower. The code for the room works for all entrances and there was no issues with parking. Definitely will come back!

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe. Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake! Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

Everything was perfectly clean and nice; the room was comfortable and the bathroom has a very good shower. Stephania and her husband are wonderful people and were VERY helpful, allowing us to stay a little bit later than usual on our check-out day. Coffee and more is available in the common breakfast/living room area which is super nice.
