The highlight was Denis, our host – kind, helpful, and always there with a smile to make sure everything went smoothly. The hotel features a private beach – small and quiet, with easy access to the sea, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. We loved the peaceful mornings and the sound of the waves throughout the day. Even though Argasi is a lively town, Alisaxni Art Studio keeps a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, great for those who want to unwind but still have everything nearby. Brothers Marios and George and their Team are the most welcoming hosts! We were always greeted and looked after with warmth and authenticity by everyone. And Marios would sit down with us often and recommend beautiful spots for what we were wanting to experience. And we would end up in deep conversation about life and mindfulness. Truly grateful to have stayed at Kanela and connected with our new friends. The property itself is very clean and fully serviced every morning by Mrs Nelly without fail unless of course we requested otherwise. It is right by our favourite beach, with shallow water running for maybe upto 100m. Great to sit or stand in calm water with views of mountains in the distance. Other beaches are spectacular but far less comfortable. Worth visiting them but we kept coming back to our home beach daily. Kanela has its own cafe and bar offering delicious food and beverage. You’ll see from the menu that the source and quality of ingredients are very well considered and important to them. Perfect stay for a calmness and inner peace.

Está ubicado en una zona muy céntrica de la ciudad, a pocos pasos de la Plaza Solomos, el puerto, la Plaza de San Marcos, cafeterías, restaurantes, tiendas y un supermercado; ideal para quienes quieren tenerlo todo al alcance, incluso sin coche. Las administradoras fueron excelentes: respondían de inmediato a cualquier consulta y siempre eran amables y dispuestas a ayudar. El balcón del apartamento es realmente una joya, con una vista única hacia la colina de Bohali. Es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de un café o una copa de vino al final del día. Y la propietaria... ¡simplemente encantadora! Su dulzura y los pastelitos que nos ofreció representan a la perfección la auténtica hospitalidad griega; te hace sentir verdaderamente bienvenido desde el primer momento. ¡Sin duda, volvería a elegirlo y lo recomiendo totalmente!

The room was clean, spacious and in a very good spot near the center! Also parking was not that much of an issue.

We had everything we needed to make us comfortable in those hot August days: the fridge worked, the air conditioner cooled well and we used the remote to control the temperature; there was hot water in the bathroom; the beds were extremely comfortable! Marina is the hostess and is extremely kind and responsive! And as a bonus - we became friends with the cat Zico, who kept us company every day!
