Lots of things to allow for making meals in the apartment. Bed is comfy, shower is good in the bathroom and the apartment is nice and cool. The main reason I booked was for the view which is fantastic. The location is great, a quiet street but less than a ten minute walk to the square and the nearest beach.

Everything was perfect from the location with the balcony view (fortress, hills, and church bells) to the warm welcome from Maria, the delicious cookies, bottle of water, liqueur, and some fruit. It was off season when I visited so having these extras was really appreciated when lots of restaurants were closed. After my ferry was cancelled, I was able to easily book another night, which made the unexpected delays less of a hassle. I would highly recommend this place.

Featuring sea views, Guest House Lucijo provides accommodation with terrace, around less than 1 km from Maslinica Beach. With a garden, the 3-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Each room is equipped with a balcony with views of the garden. We loved the location in the center of Vrboska near marina in an old stone house for our family of five (three children aged between 2 and 7). Fully equipped apartment, including washing machine and dishwasher, stocked kitchenware, towels, etc. so really not much else to ask for. Our host even welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and was at disposal to help in any way during our stay. We also had a private terrace with a dining table and spacious enough to store our bikes. Nice beaches nearby, even sandy which children love, but using bikes to get there was much easier than walking and we wouldn't bother driving. While there was only one separate bedroom where we slept with our youngest child, the older two children slept on a big sofa in the main room so the apartment is perfectly suitable even for a family with three young children. Public parking lot is about 300 meters away with plenty of space, that’s where we parked the whole time. There’s a smaller one close to the apartment, which the host recommended we use, but it’s not always free and the road to get there is somewhat narrow, so we didn’t bother. The public lot worked just fine for us. Overall we had a great stay and if/when we return to the island of Hvar we'd be perfectly happy to choose Guest house Lucijo again.
