The atmosphere was fantastic, and the people there are truly the heart of the place. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and it’s close to many lovely local-style cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Mountain Ecolodge se encuentra en Gubukklakah, a 23 km de Velodrome Malang y a 24 km de Bentoel Museum. This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Abrakadabra 747 está en Timuran, a 17 min a pie de Palacio del Sultán y a 2 km de Museo Sonobudoyo, y ofrece acceso a un jardín con terraza. También hay nevera y hervidor. Personal muy amable, serviciales, siempre dispuestos a ayudar con las dudas. El desayuno muy sencillo pero delicioso. Las habitaciones son muy simples pero están limpias, huelen muy bien y son confortables. Relación calidad-precio inmejorable. La ubicación está bien, en una esquina de la zona emmurallada de la ciudad, por lo que se está tranquilo. Para llegar al centro hay que andar un poco, 10-15 minutos.

Brak Homestay está a 36 km de Mount Lamongan y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Great location in central Probolinggo. The owner is absolutely the best, he caned to pick us up at the train station, he arranged for us a motorbike to drive up to Mount Bromo and he left us leave our bags with him free of charge. He took care of giving us all the good indications on how to ge to Malang by bus and he was always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. Can’t do better in the area

Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur está en Borobudur, a 19 min a pie de Templo Borobudur, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. I really loved the location — it feels like the countryside, close to the rice fields. I wish I could’ve stayed longer; it’s such a peaceful place with crickets singing at night and a very cozy atmosphere. The property is extremely clean, and the room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, and had a small terrace. The cottages are surrounded by greenery, and there’s also a restaurant on-site. The staff were absolutely lovely, and it was easy to order a Grab from here. You can even see the temple from a distance — such a charming place!
