By far the best place to stay in Banguwangi. I am going to come back in May and stay longer. The host was so sweet and the food they offered was so tasty. Do yourself a favor and stay with them. They even offer mount ijen tours straight from the homestay. The location was good and the wifi was the best in all of Indonesia. I rate wifi based on how many videos I can upload to my GoPro account. In a matter of a few hours I was able to upload 57 videos!

His friend drove us up to the starting point where a tour leader followed up to guide us to the crater. The accomodation is really serene in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are tiny 'houses' which each their own terrace and the terraces all have a natural wall of green to give you so privacy. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to be back someday

Everything about this stay was amazing. The hosts, Fryda and Imran, go out of their way to ensure your stay is as good as can be. When we arrived we were not feeling well (Bali belly) and Fryda raced to their local shop to buy us some fresh coconut water. On the second day, they both took the morning to drive us to a coffee plantation and a local batik painting shop and workshop. Further, Fryda helped us book our train tickets. The breakfasts were excellent and facilities and rooms were simple but clean. This is a homestay and Fryda and Imran welcome you in with open arms. Highly recommend staying here if you are after a budget friendly homestay. Thanks Fryda and Imran, hope to see you again someday.
