The location next to the lake, the spacious and extremely clean room, the shower with more than sufficient hot water, the clean sheets and comfortable mattress which is firm enough without being too soft for those of us with lower back issues, and Mr. Dimmer who made us feel extremely welcome. He even provided a room for our driver since we arrived much later than expected due to the long line of vehicles waiting to get on the ferry from Parapat to Samosir. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

Located on the beachfront, this property has a terrace and barbecue facilities. The homestay offers an outdoor fireplace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Absolutely loved this hostel. It wasn't busy at all as I was travelling in the low season, but it's very comfortable, with nice shower and Aircon, free coffee, well behaved and friendly local staff, and a very funny, generous and accomodating owner, Philip. I think the project and developmwnt of the place is excellent and I really enjoyed my time there.

It was a very nice trip in Bukit Lawang with Jhony and Lana. They are very kind and helpful when you need something. The trek in the jungle with them was a unique and incredible experience.

Owner, Tyson welcomed me explained everything needed. A young lady working at the cafe (Diza, sorry if I mistaken the name)made me one of the best meals in Indonesia I’ve ever tried. Sweet dog and cat were also welcoming and slept under my room’s door at night.The room was simple but very clean with beautiful garden setting. The location is a little bit out of town, but walkable and very quiet. Tyson also organized a jungle trek for me and that was also very good. We saw 8 orangutans)

Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the lake and river. This was such an amazing place. The owners Sarah and August welcomed us very friendly. We had a pickup at the bus station. The rooms were nice, spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and for reasonable price. We did 3 days trekking with guide Bai and friends and had so much fun. We saw tons of animals including wild orangutan, siamangs, argus and turtles. The camping in nature was simple but very fun and the food was amazing. We felt like in a family. Thank you 🙂
