We had an amazing experience staying at Shankar Homestay during our trip to Hampi. It’s one of the best homestays we’ve come across in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and the overall vibe. The rooms were spotless, with beautiful interiors, soft and cozy bedsheets, comfortable blankets, and warm lighting. They even provided toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. Everything felt well-maintained and worth every penny. The outdoor area felt like a mini farmhouse—clean, peaceful, and with a charming village-like vibe. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring Hampi. The hosts, Ramu and his wife Kavitha, were amazing. They were friendly, warm, and always ready to help, which made us feel right at home. The location is great—away from the noisy tourist areas but just a 4-minute drive to all the main attractions in Hampi. A special mention goes to Mr. Anjaneya, or Anji, a family friend of the hosts. He drove us around in his auto-rickshaw and was more than just a driver—he was like a guide. He took us on a tour of Hampi, suggested the best places to eat non-veg food, and even helped us rent a bike. His tips and guidance made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Shankar Homestay is a perfect blend of comfort, great hospitality, and a peaceful vibe. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hampi!

La tranquilidad del lugar y la ubicación, muy cerca del centro de Hampi. El trato personal y cercano, muy pendientes de nuestras necesidades... Llegamos antes de lo previsto y nos dieron una habitación alternativa para descansar hasta tener nuestra habitación... El desayuno estaba ESPECTACULAR y también nos dieron la cena uno de los días solicitándola el día anterior... Repetiríamos 100%

Es un lugar perfecto para descansar y se puede llegar andando a la entrada del PN Personal encantador y el restaurante con mucho nivel, todo exquisito. La habitación que tuvimos no era muy grande pero tenía todos los detalles de un hotel de categoría. Muy buen gusto

The hotel is brand new. My room was big and had a nice balcony with a lovely rural view. Everything was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The air-condition was efficient and very quiet. Wifi worked perfectly all the time. The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful location with several restaurants nearby. The location is perfect for exploring the Hampi area. The owner Raj speaks excellent English and is extremely helpful. He happily assist you with anything, whether related to touring the Hampi area, planning your itinerary in India or any general questions you may have. I doubt there is any hotel in Hampi which offers better value for money. Highly recommended!
