Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

温泉民宿三国縁 está en Sakai, a 20 km de Phoenix Plaza y a 21 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. The appartement was very clean, serene and calming. It has a nice Japanese feel and the hosts were very kind!

越前海岸 ゲストハウス オーシャンズ Echizen Coast Guesthouse OCEAN'S se encuentra en Fukui, a 26 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza y a 26 km de Phoenix Plaza. Para comenzar estaba muy limpio, el lugar en sí ya es hermoso, con un entorno increíble a solo pasos del mar. El propietario es una persona muy simpática y atenta. Habla inglés muy fluido así que si no sabes japonés de igual manera puedes disfrutar de una grata conversación. Volvería encantado y por más días.

京町レジダンス está en Echizen-shi, a 18 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall y a 24 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne está en Ōno, a 26 km de Templo Eihei-ji y a 29 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall. What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

古民家の宿「こはる」 está en Obama, a 34 km de Maizuru Brick Park y a 34 km de Kongoin Temple, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y salón de uso común. The family is very friendly and cute. The house is just awesome and I strongly suggest to take the diner and breakfast because the food is simply delicious. I could even tried a real kendo outfit and met one of the daughter from Okinawa with her lovely newborn. We had great chat and we tried dishes I didn't existed. They're also very generous. We had to leave very early in the morning, so they got up to make us small bento box for the road. I strongly recommend.

He will reply to any queries immediately. He prepared many foods and drinks too. Beds was very comfortable. There were washer and dryer too.
