The house is very beautiful, well renovated with very good taste.Three toilets but only one bathroom.The owner and the staff are very kind and full of service mind. We have barbecue with karaoke , singing and dancing with the best audio equipment..The owner well prepared everything for our group including the heater on the floor. We all very appreciated for the hospitality, will come back again.

Fantastic welcoming by the host, we opted for the BBQ option and went grocery shopping using the bikes of the hotel - all of it was great fun! The bed was also very comfortable.

It was -3°C when I woke up at 7:30am, so cold and I decided to go back to sleep... but when I drew the curtain and looked outside, the scenery was amazing that I immediately grabbed my coat and gloves to take some pictures outside. The room itself was spacious if you're only traveling with your partner, it would be packed if you're a group of 3 to 4. Very clean and cozy. Everyone mentioned the breakfast so we ordered it too! Self-grown vegetables, homemade jam and yogurt... even the honey was from their own beebox! So healthy and natural food... We were truly amazed.

The location and owners make this homestay special. The latter is at the foot of a historic and important Buddhist shrine and resting place of Kato Kiyomasa, builder of the Kumamoto Castle, while the former are generations-old family of soba makers. While breakfast didn't come with soba, it was one of the best I've eaten in Japan. The space is comfortable, traditional and has everything you may need, including excellent views of the city.

Beautiful, distinctive lodging. Very well located. The host is exceptional — warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely helpful. She’s wonderful, as is her hostel.

Minpaku Jaito-民泊じゃいと-Homestay in Traditional House está en Amakusa, en la región de Kumamoto, cerca de Playa de Hondo. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The owners were very kind and generous! We stayed during the heavy rain and floods, so the owners drove us to the convenience store to buy food. The house is very cosy and comfortable!

Very beautiful, clean guesthouse that was renovated from an old japanese home. The owners are both very kind and went out of their way to make my stay as nice as possible. You can tell that they really care about this place! Aso station (startpoint for the tour bus) can be reached in around 20 mins with bus or train. At night it is quiet and even in the summer surprisingly cool. I highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Aso!

Omusubi share house JAPANEZE STYLE ofrece alojamiento en Mamihara, a 50 km de Lake Ezu. We were slightly sceptical about this place as it only had two reviews, but we are so glad we booked. This was a great guesthouse with traditional Japanese rooms in a gorgeous village. The host was incredibly helpful (even walking us to a local restaurant to make sure we got a space as everywhere was fully booked). We felt incredibly welcome, had comfy beds, a lovely room, and everything we needed.
