It was very easy to get to by car, and I was the only guest in the entire house. The owners are so nice, and always willing to chat with you. They don't know much English so it is better if you know Japanese. However, your stay will still be a very comfortable one as they go above and beyond to meet all your expectations.

We spent three wonderful days in Hirosaki, a charming and authentic town that still feels untouched by mass tourism. It was refreshing to explore a place where the pace is slower and the culture feels so genuine. The absolute highlight of our stay was Guest House Chara, run by the kindest elderly couple, Fusao and Toshiko. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home—it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it truly felt like staying with family. Their house told a story, filled with warmth, history, and the little personal touches that made it feel lived-in and loved. From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful, off-the-beaten-path experience in Japan. ありがとうございます

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse se encuentra en Matsushima, a 23 km de Sendai City Community Support Center y a 5 min a pie de Entsuin Temple. I so recommend this place! Cozy and comfortable ! The location was near the station temples and the center and at the same time it was quite. The owner very friendly person who speaks French very well and gives you many tips.

Petit Resort Hotel Der Barte es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas que se encuentra en Zao Onsen, a 8 min a pie de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y que dispone de jardín, restaurante y bar. Great location on mountain, food was really good, breakfast was different every day. Had dinner there as well it was nice. Rooms are small but expected.

Pension Puutaro se encuentra en Zao Onsen, a 6 min a pie de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y ofrece jardín, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y restaurante. location is very good, right outside the ropeway and chairlifts. ladyboss is super friendly and helpful. i wasnt well and skipped breakfast, she hand grated apples and gave me an energy drink to help my indigestion! I'm really grateful for her help and concern. she also gave us ticket to the public onsen. 😍 thank you so much, we had a wonderful time.
