Jazz and his beautiful family were amazing hosts. First, he arranged a very good taxi with a professional driver(And also a VERY fair price) that took us from Colombo to his resort. I couldn't join my partner at the beginning of our stay and she was alone for the most part during our stay here. Jazz knowing about it, he and his beautiful family, alongside this beautiful Dutch couple, made sure that she would have the best time with various activity and their warm company. Overall, she really enjoyed her stay. He even managed an expedition for her alongside that couple at night, to find exotic animals. On the last day when I arrived, not only was I greeted with the highest of hospitality, but also an exceptionally delicious lunch(you can trust my taste, I'm an Iranian), which wasn't included in our plan at all. Also in the reviews I saw some people found the route to the beach difficult. From my personal experience, that is far from the truth. The resort is less than 100 meters away from the beach, it's just a simple walk. If I come to Arugam Bay again, I'll choose this place 100%.

VERY well maintained property, gorgeous gardens, lovely pools, and the accommodations were spectacular. The food was delicious and lots of choice. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Everything was great thanks to our host Basheer, he is honestly the kindest human on this planet! He organized everything for us: safari, surf lessons, cooking class - and everything was just perfect! Would come back anytime!! (As long as Basheer is there ;))

We loved everything about this place! The staff is something else - so kind, helpful and welcoming. They make the best breakfast with everything one could dream of :-) Thanks to you three for making our one week stay so memorable. Besides that the location of the hotel was priceless: close to everything (the beach, restaurants etc.) yet so quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugam Bay! And we’d love to come back.

The property was lovely. We also took the surf lessons and they were fantastic! We had so much fun. We are complete beginners and it was so well taught, and Apple knew the spots to go to!!

The rooms are so comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, the A/C works well and is quiet, the garden is a lovely little oasis, the kitchen was really great to have especially for making smoothies, and the team is so helpful and easygoing. I really loved staying here, first for two nights and ultimately for a week. Highly recommended!

Panama is a calm and beautiful village with lots of surrounding nature - including beautiful lagoons and Kumana national park. Rosie was an amazing host and prepared us amazing Sri Lankan food for breakfast and dinner. The property has a beautiful garden and the room was very clean and nicely decorated.
