But the highlight was definitely our amazing host – so kind, helpful and always smiling. He really made us feel at home, and went above and beyond with every little request. We’ll always remember his warm energy – thank you so much! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

The food was amazing and rooms were so spacious ....Owner and the staff were really supportive and attentive...Kids love the experience with the fascinating pool and we loved our stay at the Maritime Nest ...it was a wonderful experience ....we give 10/10 for cleanliness ,food and the cozy environment ...its a calm nature friendly environment which gave us a different experience from our busy lives...Thank you Mr Peiris and his Mom and the staff for a ecstatic experience ...Wish you all the very best... EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

A bit out of the centre, so quiet but you need to walk or take the bus/tuktuk to eat or go shopping. The host was very nice and helpful. We didnt had the chance to check the beach near by because of the weather but apparently its beautiful. Good wifi and aircon.

Sunithra and her family are the kindest people you’ll meet. They made sure I am comfortable, cooked breakfast and dinner, and helped me with all the logistics. The room was exceptionally clean, and I loved the patios around the house.

Lovely hosts, great breakfast, the room was large and very clean, short walk to the beach and nice to cool off in the the brand new pool!

Place is located in Tissamaharama, maybe 2km of center but you have everything in for short stay. We spent 1 night before going to safari. Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Our stay at this guesthouse was fantastic! The room was the best we had during our entire trip—super comfortable bed, hot water in the shower, and reliable WiFi. The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They prepared a delicious breakfast and snacks for our early morning safari, which was really thoughtful. We also had an amazing tuk-tuk tour around the lake, where we saw crocodiles, water buffalos, various birds, and thousands of fruit bats—such an incredible experience! On top of that, they added a special touch by decorating our bed beautifully for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tissamaharama!

Το Kethaka Aga είναι σε απόσταση 3,7 χλμ από Tissa Wewa και 29 χλμ από Bundala Bird Sanctuary στον προορισμό Tissamaharama. The air conditioner was cold, the water hot, the pool refreshing, the view spectacular, breakfast delicious and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
