The location was perfect, very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and more. The breakfast made by the owner and his family was stellar as well. It was one of the best ones we have eaten in Sri Lanka. It is optional though, so you can opt out, but you would be missing out!! We met some great people as well during breakfast, which gave a bit of a homely feeling, this was perfect. The room was super clean, the airconditioning cold, and the stay was just about perfect. We miss it already!

The family is so kind and the breakfast is amazing, the best we have had in Sri Lanka. The room is comfortable, very new, with a very good shower. About 10 mins walk to the beach, many restaurants on the way. Definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful spot! Perfect location between two beaches with a really down to earth Sri Lankan family. Breakfasts were really delicious and were different all 4 times. Drinking water was provided. The room was quiet and really beautiful - lovely balcony, everything works well (shower, AC, etc). Scooter rental was a fair price and it was a good scooter. We met a couple of other guests that were really friendly. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Thank you!!

PearlDrop in Mirissa was an excellent experience. The room was spotless, with everyone going barefoot to keep beach sand out. Hot water, a great balcony with a beach view, good AC, and perfect lighting made the stay comfortable. The large mirror was a nice touch. Eranga and the staff were extremely helpful, assisting with our whale and dolphin tour and offering great advice. The breakfast was top-notch in both quality and quantity. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful room, exceptionally clean, great location within walking distance to the beach and town. Easy to arrange a tuk tuk if needed with the owners brother who was very reliable.

A stylish, comfortable and luxurious stay. This place is so special and you can see the love and care that went into this villa. Our room was spacious and looking out to the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away from the bedroom constertina doors that open completely. I loved the botique shop on the property with beautiful designer clothes. Lovely hosts and a really comfortable stay! There is also a beach nearby where you can swim with turtles!
