I don’t have words to describe the beautiful Mailagama Cinnamon Residence. Staff was super friendly and really helpful. We joined the copper dinner and it was simply amazing, we had dinner in the garden surrounded by the rice field - speechless! The room was clean, hot water in the shower. They arranged a safari for us and gave us a doggy bag with breakfast. They also have an immense rice and spicy field and have us a tour around. Beautiful experience

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. They were very helpful and provided us with information and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend and we will be booking again soon. Thank you Sam!

White Square Home-stay se encuentra en Wellawaya, en la región de Distrito de Monaragala, a 35 km de Puente de los Nueve Arcos, Demodara. Nos gustó todo. La familia fue muy amable con nosotros, cenamos con ellos y nos hicieron probar sus platos típicos, que estaban buenísimos. Habitación grande y limpia.

Ruwan and Demi were so kind, always going above and beyond to help us in any way possible. They had answers to every question we had, gave us the best recommendations and always made sure we were happy. Amazing location. Everybody should stay here, I wish I could stay in this little paradise forever!

Forest Tree Top Holiday Resort está a 36 km de Templo de Kataragama y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, terraza y bar. Amazing place!!! The host is just the sweetest, and offers an amazing safari to Yala at much cheaper than third party websites, and he grew up spotting animals so you are in good hands (we even saw a leopard!). I cannot recommend this place more, it is quite special!

Ethili Lake view & Safari Camp está a 47 km de Puente de los Nueve Arcos, Demodara y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y servicio de habitaciones. The property is beautifully situated on a lake. At sunset and sunrise you can walk there in a minute and see thousands of birds. We saw Ibis, 3 types of kingfishers, all kinds of herons, pelicans, and much more. There’s an open air restaurant on the property which is cosy and serves delicious food. We wanted to try the local lake fish (Koralli) and the owner gladly bought fresh ones and barbecued them for us. Super tasty!
